Marking Up Gold Leaf ?

How are most people marking up gold leaf? I've been using 1.5x the price of the leaf which is about $73 a book of 25 sheets of patent leaf...

It's been a while since I've gilded (5+ years), but when I was, I was getting ~$9 an upright inch for letters.
I used W&B Deep gold (23.5Kt glass) ~$50 for 25 sheets.
