Masking tape

Ij35 and 40 scraps cut into strips make pretty good tape for installing graphics. It's waterproof and comes off clean unless you leave it there over the summer. Not as convenient as a roll of masking tape but you can pitch it to your recycling eco-friendly clients.

With tape that tears easily, I'm pretty sure that's just old tape. Never had that problem with a new roll.

Have you guys seen the microwave tip? I have never tested it, but the video seems convincing:
