Masking

I know how to mask in Illustrator but don't know how to do the same effect in Photoshop CS2.

What I'm trying to do is use a vehicle template in photoshop and being able to get the same effect as using "The Bad Wrap". TBW looks cool but a little pricey.

Copy the vector outline of the template in Illy. Paste it as a path in Photoshop. Select the path and click the mask icon at the bottom of the tool palette. Good luck!
