Matching these fonts is just not my thing today.

[Pixels Are Bad Mmmkay?]

I've been trying to match these two fonts for the last 30 minutes and I'm having terrible luck. I thought they would be easy, but with so many similar scripts and roman fonts out there I'm finding no leads. Thank you so much to anyone who can help.

Oh yeah. One thing to pay particular attention to is the letter v. It is very distinct but still seems to be of no help.

hmm not finding it either...

marathon serial xbold seems really dang close

Thank you. That's why I was confused. I found Marathon on whatfontis.com but I thought for sure the last time we did work for this company the font was Palatino family, yet the two Palatinos I have installed don't match at all. Thanks for your help.

Still searching for the script as well if anyone knows.

I notice on Marathon the capital C is nowhere even close to the original, but the lowercase all seem to be about 95% similar, at least at a glance. I may have to use this and do some altering but I hate doing that since we are only replacing one side and it has to match the other. And for whatever reason, they didn't have a file to send over this time.

The C looks like goudy.

Gerber's version of Palatino looks like it was based off of berthold's version

Yep. Goudy is close enough. I think at this point it will be simple enough to adjust the nodes and call it a day.

Still lookin' for the script though. Hopefully someone can turn up a lead on that.
