matte clear foil

anyone use the matte clear foil on an fx?? we have tried to use it and all we get is the error message "mismatch foil type" and it will not let us use this at all. any ideas?? its an origanal foil from gerber so not an after market make or anything.

A mismatch message is the software telling you that the combination of foils or the foil/vinyl combination is not recommended. It has nothing to do with brands.

so how do i work around it? i want to use a specific material/profile and then use the matte clear......any recommendations fred.

tell it to print blue for instance, and just put in the matte clear instead...? thats how I do stuff like that on orig. edge
