So my SP540 was printing away happily, when i heard the dreaded mid-print beeping from the other room.
Ran in, and somehow one of the media feet that clip on next to the pinch rollers had come off, jammed into the frame of the print head carriage, wedging it solid against the cutter strip/heat platen area.
LUCKILY, it didnt touch the print heads at all... and i got it unjammed.
I ran an environmental match, recalibrated everything, etc... and it print just like new again. BUT... i'm having to dial in 3x the normal cutting pressure to get it to contour cut anything. I put in a new blade... didnt help.
Any ideas?
