Mimaki 250 sp, cannot see cartridges black and magenta

I have a 250 SP.
It wasn't working for about two years. The lines were emptied and cleaned out completely.
It's now unable to read the Black and the Magenta chips in my bulk in cartridges.

I changed already the chips with a new one and I also change the receiving sensor without any results.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

when a cartridge set for long time with out moving it ,the two connector
that touch the chips retract and dont make contact with chips
removed cover and try to pull them out a little bt
see if work

Do you mean on the printer side?
I did change those connectors entirely and replace them with new ones.
I also placed some spacer to have the chip on the cartridge to push out more so to have a better reach... No luck.
Thanks

Next ,check a little switch right under the needle the one that punch
the cartridge . Press and depress couple of time
see if work
good luck

I'm not sure which needle you are talking about.
You mean on the other side of the cartridge space? Facing the connector that touch the chip?

Thank you.

as Pagan says, it is very possible that the sensor detects that the cartridge will not work.
You can determine which sensor is failing:
Enter in service mode//#test//Sensor test//Sensor test - Ink pad
there you can see if it works.

;)

Everythinbg done, still the problem persist...

Next step is a new main board...
I can get one originally on a 160 SP...
How do I switch the setting to a 250 SP? I'm told I can do it changing some parameter in service mode.
Thanks
