Mimaki 300 not supported by Onyx

Hi all,

My buddy just bought a Mimaki 300 printer and is using Onyx 11.1
Onyx is telling him they don't support his printer and Onyx doesn't see it. Does anyone know of a workaround (besides Rasterlink) or a hybrid profile to get the two working together?

Sorry, but a printer driver inside of the RIP is a prerequisite to using the RIP with that printer. Not sure why Onyx would not plan on supporting the Mimaki printer though...it may be that they are still working on development of the driver.

I was sure they supported the new JV300 , not sure about the CJV300. But the JV300 is in the Onyx list of printers you can install however there are no generic profiles for it you have to make your own.
