Mimaki 3042-FX build project

Hello Everyone,

Recently scored a 3042 FX in need of some TLC. Figured I would document my progress for fun. This girl will get a fresh paint job and everything.

M906906 - KB label is the part number. I just ordered these for a customer as well, however they are on a 1-2 month back order from Mimaki.

Awesome Im ordering new Decals - One of my printers came with Blue tape from the previous owner - disturbing to look at lol Really appreciate the part # !

Fresh parts ready to go in. All new caps, rubbers, coil waste tubes, absorption pads and pump tubes.

This girl will be cleaning like a champ.

When I say deep clean...I mean DEEP!

If you have never changed your pump tubes I highly recommend looking into it.

Look at the deformation of the tubes.

Fresh Factory Panel Decals ! very nice

New bracket, key top, lcd window, and decals installed.

Control panel is now just like new!

Well this printer's resurrection has been a very fun process. We have been utilizing this machine for the last 8 months running some small jobs here and there. It is time to sell this bad boy to make way for our next build project. Stay tuned for another build thread in the coming weeks.
