Mimaki 6042 Mk2e Error 404 Y Current

Mimaki 6042 M2 e, got a Error 404 Y Current message. With the machine turned off it's hard to move the head left and right. I have greased the rail, which helped slightly, but it is still much harder to move than it has been in the past. I think it might be bearings that have gone bad, but I don't can't find any part numbers or information about this issue. Has anyone else had this issue and fixed it?

Someone told me it could be pulleys on both ends, y motor or linear bearings the carriage run on.

I have disconnected the y motor and belt from the carriage and it still just as difficult to move, so I don't think it is the y motor.

Is there a way to tell if it's the pulleys or the linear bearings? .

It sounds like you've isolated it to the linear bearings. Unfortunately, finding them is going to be a bit tough. They don't show up in the Mimaki price list which usually means special order from Japan or China. I can't get them for you but see the info below that may help you track them down.

Mimaki Part Numbers:
Right Side Linear Bearing P/N - 04256498G000
Left Side Linear Bearing P/N - 04256468G000

Original Manufacturer - THK
Right side P/N - SSR15XW1GGE
Left Side P/N - SSR15XW1GG

Be careful as different models and even different serial number ranges use different bearings. As long as your model is the Mimaki 6042 Mk2e specifically, the part numbers above are correct.
