I have a JV100-160 and want to run Nutec inks in it as they are considerably cheaper. Is anyone running aftermarket inks and have either sourced chips that will run or a programmer that can reprograme the mimaki chips. any help would be appricated

yes to all the above.
there are lifetime chips out and one time chips that you can get. these can be found on all the usual retail giant websites.
I use the lifetime ones with refillable carts (CISS) and third party inks.
reach out and I'll put you in contact with my supplier in china for what you're after.

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
Main thing is, DS2430 chips can be reset. DS2431 get invalidated by printer reset. SS21, LH100 and older inks tend to use older DS2430 chips.
