Mimaki Issues

Good morning. Can anyone on here help me out with my JFX200-2513 EX?. I changed the white ink line on Tuesday morning. The machine ran good all day, but then on Wednesday morning it started throwing different errors and now it goes right into this after it starts booting...SYSTEM HALT (2) 1bf: PCB MAIN-F2/F3. I have checked all of the fuses. I'm wondering if one of the lines got pinched when I put it back together, and it causing it to err. Any and all suggestions would be very helpful.

That error means the F2 or F3 fuse is blown on the main board. Make sure you tested the small ceramic fuses labeled F2 and F3. These aren't glass tube style fuses like most people are used to. If the fuses are actually good and this error still pops up, something else in that circuit is damaged or missing.

*looks over message... In general section, not Mimaki... Ahh, new account and not even an introduction. Yup, we might see these guys login once or twice more*

Might want to contact your dealer. If you blew fuses changing an ink line, you are in for a helluva crazy expensive time. All for folks fixing things, but this is the 'calling the fire department from the smoldering crater' point of DIY. Get someone in who knows what they are doing, but you're probably looking at $4K+ in work.

We have both a Mimaki section https://www.signs101.com/forums/mimaki.208/
and a flatbed section https://www.signs101.com/forums/flatbed-printers.222/

I did not say that I blew a fuse changing an ink line. The machine ran fine for a day and is now throwing errors. There are no blown fuses. I've gone through them all.

Ahh, might've blown a FET or similar. Have backed up parameters? Might need a new EPL board.

My company just spent $7400.00 in parts, not including the labor for ITNH to come out and fix this problem with my Mimaki uv printers. Now we have a ujx7151 plus that keeps crashing into the far end of the Y origin. It just loses it location after it gets into the 500's. We have replaced the encoder strip, the sensor, the timing belt. I've made adjustments and nothing helps. Any ideas would be helpful.

The last 7151 I got is sitting in a corner in my shop slowly turning into spare parts. Those things are cursed, parts are scarce and so few were ever put into service. Definitely sounds encoder or fiber related, both relatively cheap parts. but sometimes they take the 'parts cannon' approach to fixes.

New encoder strip. New encoder. New photo sensor. New timing belt. New motor. It ran good for 20 minutes then did the same thing. I adjusted the encoder and the strip. It seems to be running alright now..... But this is Monday, so I do not how it will end. Any suggestions on a permanent fix for? My company has 5 of these that we run. Any input that I can use. I will take
