DIY Printer Fixing Guide
It basically means the machine isn't seeing the slider board. The official troubleshooting procedure is to check the cables that connect the main board to the slider board for damage and/or if they are still plugged in and replace if needed. The connections on the main board should be labeled (CN104/CN106) and on the slider board (CN11). Then replace the slider board and then the main board if that doesn't fix it. In my experience it's almost never the cable unfortunately. Usually the slider board but it could be any of those items.

Mimaki technician said it was the slider board problem. But we found this ddr2 pram was broken too. 2 capacitors were popped out. I have no idea what caused this. Any one knows what these capacitors value? C61 and C37
Or how much is ddr2 assy for mimaki jv100? Thank you
Btw, what is the function of ddr2 in this machine exactly. My technician said it was ok if it does not installed. Because jv150 does not use it. So confusing
Now I'm still waiting for the slider board and we'll see how if we install the new slider board without ddr2.

I'm not that familiar with Mimaki printers, but your tech is quite possibly correct about it not using that RAM. I don't know what the cap values are, you would need to see if you can get a schematic for the printer and work it out from there. The main thing though is to try and find out why they blew in the first place as otherwise you can replace them and they will just blow again. It may be better to see if you can get a used slider board

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
Looks like collision damage of some kind. Thankfully those DDR2 boards are pretty much universal and really common. Never seen a bad one before, but scavenged a few over the years.

You are right. Unfortunately it was the slider board.
