Mimaki JV3 Blocked Head....maybe?

Hello,

I have a Mimaki JV3160SP using "Inktek" full Solvent Ink (4 Colour x 2)

I've not had this machine long, and when I bought it, the Nozzle test Print was near perfect. The Cyan head has a few bars missing, but nothing too concerning.

Somewhere in the last week I have lost some of the black head (see attached)

I've tried a couple of nozzle washes - and tried pulling some black ink through from the rear panel near the waste bottle - but no change
I've heard people talk about "Soaking the Heads" on here, but not sure how to do this....

The quality of printing is good, and the printer has been used regularly - Regular Swab cleaning etc...

nozzle wash?

Hi There,

It's been a while since I ran a Mimaki, but I think there's a command under NOZZLE WASH which allows you to fill the cap station with cleaner fluid, and then asks you how long you want to soak. If I remember right, you can set it up to 99 minutes.

Keep poking around with the arrow keys on the display.
You will find it!
