Does anyone know when the proper time to replace the mist sponge is (Red arrow in picture)? In 2014 I have replaced it twice and washed it out several times when I start getting ink drops on my print from a droplet forming on the edge of the print head and this usually makes the situation better for a while. But does anyone one know more about these and how often they should be replaced?
Does anyone know if i should replace the sponge and what that is called that the blue arrow is pointing to in the picture?
Is it normal for ink to build up in the area outlined with the green circle?
I typically keep my printer fairly clean, but it seems like there are times when there is more frequent cleanings are needed.
