Mimaki JV33 Print Head Change.... I promise I searched first.

Hi All,

Long time reader but am always to worried about posting in the wrong place to ask questions (apologies in advance)

I need to change the print head on my JV33 and was wondering if there were any nasty calibrations/alligments waiting for me when im done.

I fairly confident on the physical task, and I know how to enter the service menu....but ANY advise or LINK to the thread that I have obviously missed would make my weekend.

I run a Mimaki JV3-160SP and just changed my Yellow printhead out this week (and had never done it before) - and I didn't have to do anything afterwards.
Plug and play, in the simplest form of the term.
Was a tedious process, just because you have to take so many little parts off to change the printhead, but I swapped out the printhead and dampers with no problem.
Good video(s) on youtube too if you have any questions.
