hey everyone, can't seem to get my win xp pro srve pk3 to initalize my jv33. i installed the USB 2.0 mimaki driver (or the one installed on the CD, vers. 1.1) and both results are "can't find the printer jv33" when i go into printer managment so i am thinking windows is corrupt. i would like to reinstall a fresh copy of XP. (of course wouldn't ya know it, No CD.)
Any ideas? i went into the Registry and DELETED everything that said mimaki and tried again. Nothing.
thank god i have VMware on a mac. barely.

More likely a driver issue than some sort of "windows corruption". Get the latest driver from your vendor and try that first.
