Mimaki TS55

Hi all,

got some problem with this printer.
Not sure about what kind of heads are installed. It was supposed to be Epson but it seems not.
Normally Wirth epson pinheads, there is no problem matching industrial printers with sublimation inks.
I am struggling a lot in it. It seems the waveform used has very small drops' volume and it's quite hard to match drop C of MS unless 600x1200 resolution is chosen and also in that case it's not 100% of matching (using multichannel files). Any experience on it?

Hey TE,
we have bought a TS55-1800 demo unit a month ago.
In our company in Croatia we are using the machine strong and haven't had any problems so far, (if we dont count the missing black head nozzles, which appears more often than before).
The printheads are definitly not Epson, a tech from Slovakia told me they might be "brother" printheads, but even he was not 100% shure.
I know the printheads are very expensive, you have to change the whole unit on one staggered line (2 connected printheads).

Can you clarify what you mean when you say: "hard to match drop C of MS"?
