How does the unlaminated UV ink off of these hold up when compared to SS21?
I don't have any long term evidence to rely on yet but it seems similar to solvent. I believe the quoted outdoor life is 3 years.

Well, we settled on the UJV100, seems like a better deal considering we don't need the features of the UCJV.
Will report back with an update once we get it installed and printing
Yes SS21 inks are goodI have the UJV 100-160, and have been running it since last August. This year it's been down a total of 50 days due to the magenta blocking the print head. It happens every 2 months or so, it's a known issue by Mimaki. The engineer said that the Magenta is more "sandy" than the ink should be so it clogs the print head and effectively shut down our shop during that time.
The UV ink is good, but it's a little noisy for my liking.
I was hoping to move over to the SS21 inks, and perhaps get a Mimaki CJV150-107 Print and Cut as we primarily do stickers. But are the SS21 inks UV resistant or rated for up to 3 years in outside conditions?
