3200 X 1200? I suppose that's two monitors running at 1600 X 1200 resolution.
I have a 21" Viewsonic P815 monitor at home I've been using for several years now (it's set up at 1600 X 1200, expensive monitor to buy at the time but has been reliable all these years and has a very fast refresh rate). I simply can't work at anything much less than 1600 X 1200.
I have a 19" monitor at the office also set up at 1600 X 1200. I'm hoping I'll be able to get one of those new 24"
Dell widescreen flat panel monitors with a new office system I'll be ordering soon. The 1920 X 1200 desktop could improve productivity a good bit more. If I can create room on the desk for it, I may keep the 19" monitor as well. CRT is still better for color handling.
My new
Dell notebook for home was ordered with a WSXGA+ TFT screen (1680 X 1050 resolution). Works pretty well for a 15.4" widescreen. I could have ordered it with WUXGA resolution (1920 X 1200) but I felt the icons and type would be rendered just a bit too tiny to read comfortably. Might be do-able on one of those new
Dell XPS 17" gaming notebooks though.
