It's too bad we don't have something like the Star Trek universal translator device in real life. Trajan Pro and Trajan Sans Pro look good sand-blasted into marble.
Optima was also used on the 9/11 Memorial wall in Lower Manhattan. Actually it was the newer Optima Nova family, which contains far more weights, including ones with true small capitals character sets. The type family is freaking expensive to buy though, around $1400 for the full 60 font family. Gotta keep an eye out for a sale from Linotype.
I thought sign people were supposed to use Arial for everything. Arial, aka "block." Also be sure to squeeze and stretch the hell out of it to fit any space.
