Mounting machine

Hello, I’m looking for recommendations on a mounting machine.

I’ll be mounting double sided tape (24”) onto 1/4” acrylic sheets.

May also use it for mounting vinyl prints onto 1/4” thick acrylic.

A laminator will work, but costly... If you want a low cost alternative, look at the Vevor manual cold laminators, a lot of people use them for mounting prints and application tapes, they come in a few sizes up to 51 inch, and they're only a few hundred bucks.

Being motorised, that'll give you both hands to control the work going through, and allows for lamination and bulk prep of substrates.
Down side is it is limited to a fraction over 1/4" substrate, should you ever need thicker.

For laminating vinyl you'd want to buy a better full featured one, but I never recommend using the machine you use for laminating for mounting and other tasks,it's too easy to damage the rollers rendering them useless for actual laminating. That's where these cheap ones shine, and why they're so popular. I can buy 4-5 of these for less than it costs to replace a single roller on our good laminator
