mounting paper maps

I need suggestions on mounting 3'x4' paper maps to a "somewhat" rigid substrate. I was thinking of 3/16 adhesive foamboard (easiest) or mounting the paper to 3mm pvc with spray adhesive, but not sure about the expansion rate difference (indoor) between paper and pvc. Any suggestions?

Adhesive backed paper, adhesive faced substrate or mount adhesive using laminator to substrate then mount print.
