Moving my HP 315 to new location

Is there anything I need to do to move it like remove the ink or anything like that? I'm going to hire a moving company as it needs to go down steps LOL

Install new maintenance cartridge just before the move and don't do anything else.

So, when it's at my old shop, install it before movers come?

Yeah. Old one has waste ink inside, you don't want to spill that inside the machine.

You can even put the old one back in at the new place.

Perfect thank you! Makes sense. I just got a quote for $400 to move it 20 miles...totally worth it compared to finding 4 strong guys LOL

I moved my 365 a couple of years back and went through similar worries. Had a crew from discountmoving.ca help with it—they were super careful with the print heads and made sure everything stayed level during transport. I still wrapped stuff myself just to be safe, but they handled the bulk of the heavy lifting and setup without any hiccups. Saved my back and my sanity.
