MOVING TIME!

Hi guys!

Any advice how to move Large Format printers long distance? We are moving shop from NYC to Florida and if anyone knows a firm or ideas on how to do so?
(2 HP Latex 115 printers)

I posted it for sale today but since the move is a few weeks away I think I will need to look into moving the equipment rather than buying new at location. Also looks like second hand value is pretty low and my machines are new

Replace the maintenance cartridge with a new one, load it in the truck and strap it down. That's how it's done.

I just moved my Mimaki JV33-160 from the 10,000 sf space we've occupied for 50 years to my new 1,500 sf shop in my home. I wrapped the unit in shrink wrap and rolled it out the door onto the truck's extra large hydraulic liftgate then strapped it securely to the inside of the truck with those ratchet straps. Once in its new home, I unwrapped it, did a 90 minute head soak and two heavy head cleanings. I printed a test pattern which looked good. Then, I printed a 24 x 24 CMYK color box to confirm everything was ok. In the end, no issues or tears!
