Mutoh 1204 connection problem

Using our VJ-1204 we are having problems connecting it to the computer. I followed the document to set it up and was able to print once. Now when i try to send a job to the printer i recieve the message "Cannot open port" in my production manager. I've double checked the IP settings in the printer, computer, and the production manager and they all look correct. If you have any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks Jim.

Disable all antivirus and firewalls and see if it works!

Thanks. Actually i figured out that the cable i was using wasn't a cross-over cable therefore the printer and computer weren't able to communicate.

I dont understand how it was able to comminucate the first time.
