Mutoh mainboards

Hello I recently inquired a new/used mainboard from a Freind of mine. My machine is a
mutoh vj-1614, and his was a 1204. When swapping out the mainboard, do I take my sodimm out of my old board and put in this new/used board? Or do I leave the sodimm that’s in it already in it. Thinking I need to switch the sodimms as that one is for my printer but not 100 percent sure.

Once the main board has firmware installed to it you can't use it on any model other than what that firmware was originally for. Because of this a main board out of a 1204 can't be used with a 1614. To answer your question about the sodimm continue to use the one from the 1614.
