Mutoh print quality

Hi there.

Any thoughts as to what is causing this. See attached. Mostly magenta but there is some on yellow and cyan.
Old VJ -1324. Head height low. printed on PVC towards the end of a two meter print.

Probably something really obvious, I don't have a huge amount of experience with signage. (Maintenance has been a bit lacking on this printer)

Are those streaks going in the same direction as the head's movement back and forth?
If it is, it looks like something hung up on the underside of the head and it's wicking the ink out of the printhead and dragging or dropping it onto the print.
Check it with the head on the high setting with a flashlight. Might just need to clean the on/off ramps on the sides of the print head.

Yes it is in the same direction as the head movement. I'll have a look. ta Simon
