can anyone tell me if it is possible to convert the mutoh rj4000 to solvent inks.

Anything is possible, the question is, is it feasible?

You need heaters, heater controllers, new ink pump tubing, new ink orings, capping station, heads, list could go on....

Every thought about converting to dye sub?

Me Being New To Wide Format Printing Is An Understatement.
I Have Already Bought Two Printers With The Wrong Ink Types And Low Dpi Output.
I Am Looking To Buy A Printer With Outdoor Stability For Decals . Any Suggestions , Very Confused, Please Help!!!!!!!!

Not sure what your budget is, but you should look at the Mutoh ValueJet. It'll give you the most bang for your buck if you're looking for low-cost, durable outdoor output. Great reviews, lots of users on this forum who'll attest to its stability and quality. $15k for the 48" unit, maybe a better deal depending on what dealer you work with. Give me a call for samples or questions, see ya!
