My friend is missing... Possibly considered harmful to himself.

Hello all, not a good day here... One of my college friends has left his family, posted a possible suicide note on Facebook, and has not been seen or heard from in 3 days now... They tried tracking his cell phone, but he gave it away to a stranger. He was last seen in the Charlotte, North Carolina area and believed to be headed toward Huntsville Alabama. He was driving a green Honda crv. There is a Facebook group with more details if anyone between or around those two locations would like to check it out to get photos and a description. Anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated!
