Neatdesk alternative?

Hey guys, is there any alternative way to digitize all my old invoices?
To pdf?
Keywords?
Or maybe something like a pricing software like signvox or quickbooks? Where i can have all my old invoices and future ones together?

My wife uses neatdesk to scan all our receipts and paperwork not already in digital format. They are then stored in folders on our server. We use shopVox so our customer's paperwork is already paper free. We store the quotes, orders and invoices in the customer folder with all other digital files for the job.

I don't have room on my desk for one more thing, so I use my desktop scanner/printer and Adobe Acrobat. You can assign metadata to your .pdf files for easy search-ability.

Plus one on Scansnap, I use the ix500, it is great, quick, clean, can scan both sides, good software package. You can scan in a ton of stuff in a short time.
