We use HighTail formerly YouSendIt.
We rarely have issues and customer support is pretty good.
WE did run into something where there was an outtage and no one could upload or download that has happened 3 times since we have used them in the last 5 years.

media fire.com has some good options... a few bucks a month and you get a decent amount of storage and you can embed a public upload in your site
