Need Flexi Help

Let's Go Mets!

New Member
I do not have flexi, but one of my sign guys who out sources to me does. He sets up all his files on it. Is there any way he can save or export it to like a pdf, jpeg, tiff, etc. without losing quality? I told him to export it to something and he sent me a psd but I opened and it looks horrible. He's not great with computers so he cant really figure it out and since I'm not looking at it and don't have flexi, I can't help him. Please help me.

The answer depends on the version he is using. Late versions of Flexi do well with PDF. It also depends on the nature of the content.

If all vector content then he should export as AI or EPS. If mixed content or all raster content, then he can pick whatever you prefer between TIFF, JPG or other flattened bitmap format.

Tell your customer to uncheck the box that says "Suppress Options" when exporting from Flexi and he will have export options. Compression, resolution, color mode.
Some Flexi versions default with the box checked and will export at 72dpi automatically.
