Need Help Overriding Errors on Designjet l26500?

So the waste management cable broke in the back of the printer (the metal connectors snapped off one another and one piece lost), and the cost is about $500 to replace and we are getting a new printer in like a week :/ the censor isn't necessary, is there anyway to get around that error message to get the printer to print? Or if anyone has that part from an old printer of yours? Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Just open it up and hardwire the connection? Can't be that difficult for anyone who has done even a tiny bit of wiring. It's low voltage anyways, you won't die.

We brought over an electrician and he had no idea what to do or what he was looking at unfortunately we wouldn't be skilled enough to do that :/

Electrician probably doesn't have the mindset of a electronics hobbyist or like that but even he should be able to connect few wires together.....
Like it really doesn't take more than opening up the back panel and stripping the wires then connecting the same ones.

If it's really that undoable, maybe someone has spare parts. But you are probably going to get that new printer faster than the spare part anyway.

We don't have a back panel that opens up to it, it's a cable with four prongs that is external and connects to an internal motherboard where it is permanently fixed onto a sensor that would be very expensive to mess with. The part that is broken though is the external part of the cord and the metal connectors are broken in half and one is missing. (Picture attached)

In 2nd picture you have the panel that I mean. Even got the screw next the to the connector to open it. 2nd screw should be on top of that, then just pull it out.
