Need help with spare parts HP 310

My spindle is broken. More exactly the cog wheel on the right has detached from the spindle and the plastic part that keeps it attached is partially broke apart. I manage to reassemble but I know is a temporary solution. My dealer asks 800 euros for the whole spindle. Is there a way to fix the problem cheaper?

looks like they are about 300 usd on ebay.
they are not cheap. might be able to find a 3rd party cheap one somewhere
