need help with this font

I do not believe it is a font. It may have started out as one but it has been modified beyond recognition. As far as doing something wrong, you're not ... it's just an odd sample.

ok thanks. I just traced and cleaned up the sample i had. It came out good. I kinda thought it might be a custom font. but i had to ask.
thanks so much for the help and setting my mind at ease.
