Need help with this logo

I have a customer who is wanting this logo for a early 70's trike he is restoring. I cant for the life of me find it online. it is a Owasso Explorer. The customer believes all of the text and the flag is supposed to be black.

here is the logo that is currently on there. The company went out of business long ago.

The font is Futura. The checkered flag and the layout can be hand traced and typeset pretty easily. Or you could contact The Vector Doctor and have him do it.

Is it me or does that 8 look upside down?

The 8 does look upside down. So does the S. I agree with Fred... It'll be quicker and easier just to recreate this logo than try and find a vector or high resolution version online.

I did Google it. The flag is not my concern I wanted to see an actual picture of the logo to see what the colors are supposed to be. Customer thinks it's all supposed to be black but that is just a guess.

Yeah clearly looks as if the letters have red in them. However can't go wrong with what the customer wants. Unless the customer wants free work.
