Hi Everyone,
We've just purchased an old Seiko STW-8B walking foot machine with a view to dipping our toe into banner sewing. Searching on the forum I can see people are using either V69 or V92 to sew their banners, and referring to the Sailrite thread and needle guide I can see a #18 or #20 needle is recommended for V92.
My question is what do folks use when it comes to needle point shape? I can see there are several different types - round, sharp, chisel, etc - and perhaps I'm over-thinking things, but if there is a right way I'd like to choose it.
Grateful for any help you can offer
