Well, yesterday we had a service tech come replace our black print head. No complaints, it needed to be done and we have ran a lot of material through this machine and have been very happy with it. Anyway, I go to start printing and I notice a fine magenta and cyan line against the print. Service guy said he would come back, but it won't be till next week and naturally, I don't want to wait.
Here's a thread from a similar problem I found from a search. http://www.signs101.com/forums/show...ith-SP-540V&highlight=vertical+head+alignment
I'm new to trying to work on a printer, since we have had so few problems out of it, but I was going to see if there was anything I could do without having the technician make another trip.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Service guy did a horizontal adjustment, as did I. When I spoke with him on the phone earlier, he said set everything back to zero and see what that looked like as well. I did, and it was better but still not perfect.
Off topic, I seem to have problems typing on this forum, does anyone know what that's about, is like I'm not hitting the keys hard enough but this is the only place I ever notice it.
