Ugh.. got a call last week from our ink supplier, Sun Chemical informing me they were ending their 8800 product line of ink. We use Sun Chemicals line 8800-Texlac series ink now for about 40 years. Best ink for penetrating nylon and weathers quite well to the elements why flying. 8800 series line is the old Colonial brand from back in the days.
Our main use for the ink is outdoor nylon flags and banners as well as bridal satin materials for indoor banners.
I'm a little perplexed on what is out there for nylon. Someone had mentioned TW Graphics 11000 ink line series. Has anyone used this TW product?
How does it penetrate? Drying properties? Opaque or translucent?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
