Hey everyone,

I'm Matthew, and I run a small print shop. I've been lurking here for a while, learning a ton from you all, and figured it was time to actually introduce myself.

Like most of you, I got into this business because I love the work. But after a few years, I found myself spending more time quoting jobs than actually printing them. Customers would send over an image, I'd measure it, calculate the price, create the gang sheet, send a proof, wait for approval, make revisions... you know the drill. For a $15 sticker order.

It was exhausting. And honestly, it was killing my margins.

So I did something kind of crazy. I taught myself to code. Over the past two years, I built a Shopify app called Tally that automates all the stuff I hated doing manually.

Now when a customer wants stickers or DTF transfers, they go to my site, upload their image, pick their size and quantity, and checkout. Tally handles the pricing automatically. It generates the cut lines. It even removes backgrounds and nests everything into gang sheets. I just download the files and print.

No proofs. No back-and-forth emails. No more quoting at 11pm.

I built this for myself, but other printers started asking about it, so I cleaned it up and put it on the Shopify App Store. It works with pretty much any RIP - Cadlink, Flexi, Onyx, whatever you're running.

I'm not trying to do a hard sell here. I just wanted to introduce myself and share what I've been working on. If you're curious, check it out at TallyQuoter.com. If you have questions about how it works or whether it would fit your workflow, I'm happy to chat.

Looking forward to being part of the community.

Matthew

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
Saw your merchant post, welcome to the forums!
Also, I think the HTML sig is borked.
