New Roland VS640i Random stop print (message unkown error)

Hi all, We just purchased a New Roland VS640i and have had a random error stop print. File sent is an ai file sent to Versaworks, Ripping runs fine but on 2 occasions the printer ran out about 300mm before stopping. The Printers led display says 'now prossesing' but Versaworks says 'unknown error'. We today had the same issue only that the printer stopped 90% through off a 5mtr vehicle wrap. I'm concerned of this becoming a costly issue. Has anyone had this issue or knows what the problem might be?

Are you connected directly or trough your network/hub/switch to the printer? Sometimes a busy network can't handle the printing and you get strange errors and behaviours.

This happened to me on a VP540, I bought a new network router and it went away.
