New to Flexi need some help

Can someone, please explain to me how to eliminate/reduce grainy prints in Flexi with a Roland SP 540v?

I have tried a lot of settings dither types / advanced media settings / dot types and it is not like it used to be in wasatch ( even the settings are quite different).

What type of files are you starting with?

What type of images are you incorporating into your files?

What resolution are those images?

Do files that contain only vector images or text print the same way?

What format and resolution are you saving your files in?

No matter: vector, raster.

Kinda sort it out: 1 bit versus 2bit setting.

I’ve just printed all dither types with 1bit and 2 bit and analyze with a loupe the prints. Time consuming but now I know what to expect from different dither types.
