New VG3-540 Printhead replacement already?

I had a Tech here on site that stated that three of my four printheads on my brand new VG3 were bad and said that they see this on a lot of brand new Rolands? All they did was check cap top gap run a few cleanings and said that the heads needed to be replaced. Has anyone else seen this happen to a brand new machine? apparently its pretty common? Strange that so many nozzles would be missing on bank an and b. the green and orange PH is fine however. They did no internal adjustment to try to recover said heads other than a cleaning. They said they have done this on 5 out of 6 new Roland VG3 installs. Is this a common issue? Should I be worried?

Yes, there was an issue for a short time where there was a possibility all 4 printheads could be bad on install. The printer is under warranty and you can get them replaced under warranty without an issue. Call back your service dealer and have them read the Roland DGA service blog. It is all described there for them.
And , do not be worried, this is all covered by Roland. Your tech should’ve known this. This is not an issue
