newbee need help on vinyl express

i need help with a vinyl express machine running on lxi software say when i type in letters and go to plot whys does it put the letters in a big box it wastes a lot of vinyl does it have a setting or can a eliminate the box

It sounds like you have a cut box selected around your letters. check the options in your production manager and uncheck any boxes that say easy weed. hope this helps

look for weed border and turn it off! If you got to signwarehouses web site they should have a tutorial section on the LXI software and there house brand plotters. At least they used too.
