I am new to vinyl cutting and graphics I bought a Roland colorcamm pc600 for my own personal stencil making, and the computer that was with my machine was damaged by accident and I no longer have Windows XP or the programs needed to start cutting... I have no clue on what programs I need to give in order to install on a Different computer... I have tried to get a hold of the person who I bought the machine from but I no longer have his phone number.. I have heard that I needed Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw along with Vector ?...

* Can anyone offer me some advice of what is needed for my setup??

I do not plan on using the printing partnof it altjoughnit works...... I dont plan on getting into sign making as a business persay - but I would like to use my machine for stencil making, possibly some t shirt transfer designs, and simple vinyl stickers for my own personal vehicles. thanks for reading and I appreciate any & all replies. Please send me a email address and I will send the RCC program to you. You can use other program to run your plotter, surf on the web.
You need a "vector program" as Corel, Illustrator, etc, for "design art", the easiest program to use is Corel but that is my opinion.......
Best Regards.

XP windows 7 partition ?

Thanks for the rule reminder, but while we are on this subject, I also went through the xp thing. I bought a new Roland cutter in 2004, and in 2007 my computer crashed. That was around the time they changed to Vista. This caused great hardship at the time, because my sole livelihood depended on that cutter. I panicked when I learned Roland didn't make new drivers . I had to make my new store bought Vista into an xp.
Now xp's are a dime a dozen.

I know that you can also partition a windows pro 7 into an xp. I don't know the details. I wonder if you can do that with windows 8 or 10 ???
