Hi, I am completely new to this and stumbled a cross an edge and gs15+ plotter a few months ago by chance. Its sat in my shed til now before I dared to tackle it and connect it up.
I'm running it through my MacBook using XP and VM Fusion. Both being run via USB. Couldn't get Omega to work like this so I will be using Flexi 8.1.
So far i've successfully cut and printed 1 colour.
I'm not going to be doing anything fancy, mainly 1-3 colour simple decals.
Now my Question-
If i'm doing the designs in Illustrator am I best to save the complete multi coloured design as one item. or split in into colours and rebuild it in flexi.
If someone could run through or point me in the direction of how to make a 2 or more colour decal from Illustrator, through flexi to the edge that would be amazing.
I'm used to Photoshop and Photo's hence my complete amateurness.
