Save a small lighted cabinet so you can use it to print samples of backlit signs and tweak the artwork. Pictured below is an old "ATM" sign that is 9" x 36".

This artwork I tested had a faint halo behind the wording that was barely visible during the day, but at night was much more pronounced. We eliminated it after this test and all was good.
