no cyan???

Ok. was doing some test prints, because printer was sitting while i was on holidays. Never do shut it off and Everything was going ok, all colors coming back, then all of a sudden...all colors show 9 9 5 4 7 6 blah, blah, blah.... but cyan --. 2 hyphens? And there are about more than half full. And i now go to do a test print and i get an " Error 30". Still new to this digital era. So this is new for me. What now????

Check the date for on the Cyan cartridges. If they're expired you'll get the hyphens. Also if the cartridge is empty.

I have had the chip get dirty and not be read by the printer. You can just wipe the chip but if it's from one day to the next I'm thinking your cartridges have expired.

+1 to this, also make sure that your cartridges are pushed in all the way
