Nothing to do with the machine. Thats something in whatever your RIP is.

yeah sounds like the rip program is not registered, check and make sure you are using a legit copy

well It's definately not a demo, was working just fine for the last 9 months we've been running the software.. the tech just told me to try start->programs->rasterlink 5 -> register

.. which doesn't exist.. the only file called "register" that DOES, has no extension on the filename, and doesn't work as an EXE.

So I looked around and found the rasterlink web folder, which does contain a little pop-up website that asks: "Please select the activation file created on RasterLinkPro5.", has a browse button for the file, and an activate button.. this might just work.. but I've run into a NEW problem..

where is this "activation file" ??

windows 7 file organization sucks.

aaand I found programs->rasterlink pro sg5->license->license.exe

which basically gives me the option to DE-activate only.. apparently it's already been activated...

I love my job sometimes.
